These systems use 2.4 Ghz wireless cameras that transmit a wireless signal from the camera to a wireless receiver. There is a chance of interference if you have a wireless router and or if you have 2.4 Ghz wireless phones . This is a pc based system using the pc you have at home. The video will be stored on the hard drive of your pc and will require your pc to be on and running during use. It may be a laptop or desktop, however this system does not work with a MAC or Windows Vista 64 bit operating system. This system can handle up to 3 wireless cameras. You can access system via the internet from any browser to view live video or watch any recorded video at no additional cost.

2. Stand Alone DVR Internet Viewable Nanny Cam Systems

These units have a camera and a built in Digital Video Recorder installed in them when you receive it. These units will record on a standard sd card for up to 64 hours. When you return from your day just pull the sd card out of the unit and insert it into the sd card reader on your pc. Your pc's media player will open and you will be able to play, forward fast , rewind and pause the video. There is no chance of interference with this system. These units are not viewable via the web.
